  • Ben Shapiro

Ben Shapiro is actually losing prominence in contemporary politics, or at least American Republican politics, precisely because he won’t grift further to the right his other contemporaries like Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes. Shapiro is seeing more spotlight from the American Liberal media these days because he is consistent in his views, yet Liberals are approaching his positions.

Ben Shapiro is a counter argument to your position.

    right off the bat

Oh I didn’t insult you right off the bat. I rejected your position.

Then you showed to the rest of us how much of a dumbass you were, to which I seized the moment.

Keep coping that you’re right though

  • When has Hasan conned people?

    When has Hasan deceived people?

    When has Hasan manipulated people?

You say Hasan swindles people of their money. How come he donates so much of what he makes then?

You are a shit-lib libtard that has no working brain. Either that, or you’re a troll or bot paid by foreign actors. Either way, your propaganda isn’t working as can be clearly seen in this comment section.

Hasan is a beacon of hope for young men that don’t have many other high profile male role models to look to, in a sea of Andrew Tate’s and Nick Fuentes’s. He believes in an alternative to the destructive system of capitalism that most of the world lives under. He is the answer for progressive politics in at least the US and really the whole world.

As soon as the winds shift his direction, you won’t be calling him out. You’ll be supporting him. And then you’ll be the mindless, grifting minion you hope no one will notice that you are now.

  • Grifters change what they say according to what’s popular. They can say one thing one week according to the news cycle, then say the exact opposite thing the next.

Assmanmold for instance is a grifter because he’s contradicts his beliefs as he follows what his audience believes the most. Most recent example of this was with Renee Good and Alex Pretti. Assman praised ICE in the former case and said they should do more of what they did to Renee. Then he condemned ICE in the latter case and demanded accountability.

Hasan has stayed true to his beliefs over the past 10-15 years he’s been doing political commentary. He’s believed certain things especially when it wasn’t popular, and suffered the consequences. Good example of this was October 7th when HAMAS bombed that music festival in Israel. Hasan explained the event as blowback of an oppressed nation against the oppressor regime, Israel, that had been committing apartheid and ethnic cleansing for decades. Hasan lost a third of his community as a result of his beliefs on October 7th, but he’s been clawing back a lot of those losses.

Hasan isn’t a grifter. He’s a left winger. And it just so happens that the right wing in America are fucking shit up so hard that the popular response in the American citizenry is to push left.

You’re an idiot if you don’t know the difference.

  • Really good pieces of advice. Thanks!

I’ve definitely heard horror stories from people on Lemmy talking about how Windows fucked up their PC, as much as they tried to quarantine it like the pathogen it is.

So just from your comment, here are my ideas from best to worst:

    1. Gift them new laptops with Linux Mint pre-loaded (as well as their favorite browser, and possibly LibreOffice).

    2. If they have a desktop, gift them second HDD/SSD with the above.

    3. If they have a laptop, gift them external SSD with the above.

    4. Gift them a USB with the above.

    5. Set up GUI dual boot between W11 and Mint.

I know it’s difficult to have the best of both worlds between Windows and Linux. I’m stubborn though, and don’t want them to suffer under Microslop so long as the company keeps its current trajectory.

We as Linux advocates need to find ways to make it easier for others to onboard. Not seeing a lot of that sentiment in the comments (excluding you ofc).
