“I know what it requires, the problem is I didn’t go far enough to the right. That’s why in 2028 I’m running on unlimited genocide in Palestine and a federal tax cut on corporations” - Kamala Harris probably

Great so now they are setting up the primaries to also have the “lesser evil” bullshit by having Harris and Newsome battle it out.

The whole fucking system is rigged.

The classist politicians of the neoliberalist establishment that is the Democratic Party, of which Harris is a part of. You think she is doing this alone? You think these actions are not planned and discussed among themselves before being announced publicly in these little PR stunts? Are you naive to politics?

I’m not so naive that I think that this is Harris alone. But I’m also not so paranoid that I believe this to be a coordinated effort from a unified DNC.

Have you ever tried herding cats? Give them meth, and it’ll still be easier than getting democrats coordinated

Of course it’s not unified. Doesn’t need to be unified. All we need is enough rich and powerful people who together some of the time and have some idea how other people are likely to act.

And quite obviously we have that. I think 2016 was the most obvious time. Bernie was definitely the best candidate and he’s what the people wanted but he didn’t get the ticket. Doesn’t mean there was a giant conspiracy, could be a fairly small one.

And yet they all seem to agree on supporting Israel. That’s pretty amazing for methed up cats, or maybe it explains their political positions.

Yeah, it requires actually winning and not listening to corporate consultants who insist standing for anything alienates the mythical moderate vote.

JFC. She was literally the least popular candidate back in 2020, and one of the 1st to drop out. The only reason she was even on the ticket in 2024, is because they waited too long to admit that Biden wasn’t fit to run…and then she lost to Trump because she didn’t have the balls to even try and distinguish herself from Biden on any important topics.

Who the fuck is telling her she has a shot, now? I swear to God, the people she’s hired to advise her are either all fucking incompetent, or they’re running one hell of a scam on her and she’s just too stupid to notice.

When she dropped out right before the California primary she was polling in 5th place in the polls, in her home state. Yikes.

She’s an idiot to think her loss to a convict and rapist was anyone’s fault but her own. She’ll have even less of a chance against any reasonable candidate.

Yeah, I don’t think she has good odds in a primary, assuming the democrats actually have one this time around.

These days a “reasonable candidate” from either of the two, entrenched, status quo supporting political parties in the US is a mythical creature

Right trump just sat on his ass the whole time and let the votes flood in, not like he used every possible opportunity to flood both social and traditional media with his face and voice. Not like he was buddy buddy with the tech billionaires who control that media.

Do you blame the winning team for winning?

The Dems ran a shity campaign. First by allowing Biden to try to run again at all. Then replaceing him with a shity candidate. She obviously only had a set of memorised, poll tested, talking points; No actual real opinions.

Rump is (and was during the campaign) a convicted felon and rapist. Every time he was mentioned to her, she should have said so.

She also needed to seperate herself from Biden who wasn’t popular for a number of reasons. Most notably supporting Israel’s genocide. But should wouldn’t. “I wouldn’t do anything different than Biden.”
        Moron!

its not like kamala has ever performed well in a primary, for that matter neither did biden until obama elevated him and there biden was such an abject failure, i wouldnt want anybody that rode those stumbling coattails

No she doesn’t, she lost to one of the most incompetent men to ever run whose only claim to fame was being born extremely wealthy. She couldn’t even promise not to aid in a genocide, you know the bare minimum.

…she hinted later in the year that she could make another bid for the White House, telling the BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg: “I am not done.”

    She’s certainly undercooked.
