Also try micromodal which is even softer than bamboo!

I’ve heard it’s great, but it’s based in the US.

Similar: I cut down on dairy by limiting my consumption to only the last week of every month (and I don’t go crazy that week, just a wedge of Cambozola or so). My skin is clearer and has a healthy glow, and I can eat a big non-dairy meal without feeling overstuffed.

OP mentioned they have a criminal record. Canada is notoriously difficult to enter if you have a record (e.g., a single DUI on your record means you’re barred for life from entering Canada). Canada also prioritizes skilled migrants and a lot of Americans don’t meet the cutoff.
I’ll leave for Europe (dual citizen) when things get bad enough. For all the horrible news coming out of Minneapolis, nothing really has changed locally where I live (major metro area, very progressive) and I’ve seen no ICE/CBP raids. I understand why some want to stay and fight, but taking up arms against our military is a death wish and this country isn’t worth dying for.
I agree that for OP the SE Asia route might be the best. They should get a passport ASAP if they don’t have one, and get any US university degrees converted to their foreign equivalents.

I suppose you worked at every Amazon location a decade ago? I think I’ll trust my girlfriend on this over some rando on here.

My girlfriend worked for Amazon doing finance stuff around a decade ago. They treated their software engineers like royalty and everyone else like robots. She said they had open bars and chefs preparing gourmet meals on demand that only the tech staff could use, while she was brown bagging her lunch every day. Maybe that’s common in that industry, I don’t know, but hearing that made me laugh because it sounds so Amazon.

Lol, I’ve seen this stupid take so many times here. You should educate yourself on car safety. There have been a lot of important safety innovations over the past 20 years and cars get safer every year. I’m significantly safer in my newer smaller-than-average car than I would be in the same model from 20 years ago.

You completely missed the point of my comment.
The person I replied to was worried that data shared by newer cars would be used to raise their insurance rate, so I mentioned insurance to say it didn’t happen to me and my rate is actually pretty low for my area.
Hey, you do you. If you value your privacy over your physical safety then drive an old beater death trap.

I totally get that sentiment, but there have been significant safety improvements in the last 20 years. Your chances of escaping serious injury in an accident are a lot better with a 2025 car than a 2005.
I have a 2024 and I don’t like that it’s probably sharing data, but I specifically didn’t get an older used car because they’re much less safe. I pay $90 for full coverage for two drivers in Denver without the telematics app discount.

My new air purifier wants to connect to my wifi network. No thanks, I’m good.
Awesome, hope you and the wife love them! And I didn’t even know about the sustainable sourcing, that’s so cool to hear.
I got a set of micromodal boxer briefs a year ago because they were deeply discounted (new product launch) and they were such a game changer that I bought a few more sets at full price and threw away all my cotton ones. They all still look like the day I got them, no pilling or visible wear. They’re currently the only micromodal clothes I own, but I wouldn’t wear anything else for underwear.
