to hate our neighbours, to be scared to go outside, and to not trust one another. we’re being trained to hate everything about ourselves that we once loved

I’ve yet to be convinced that there is a shoplifting crisis. and I’m yet to be convinced that there is an immigration crisis. i think we’re being trained to be hateful and fearful
with thirty percent of the populace voting for him

thank you for this thoughtful comment. i was scrolling, hoping in vain for someone to bring up reproducibility, or more specifically, HARCing

im no expert, i just finished ep. 3 yesterday. me and my partner agreed that they should have rolled the first 3 episodes into one 90 inute episode, because the first two do t have any kind of story to them, just setup

just a heads up to anyone watching andor. the first two episodes are… wait until episode 3 to judge if you like the show or not

if you can’t feel sympathy for children in prison, i don’t know what to tell you
years ago i heard some advice. “if someone walks past while you’re working and says ‘good job!’ then sure, it’s nice, but you’ve forgotten by the time they’ve turned the corner. whereas if someone insults you, if they say your nose looks like a fishing hook with a rotten worm dangling on the end, you can remember that for the rest of your life. it’s not because we only remember bad things, it’s because one is specific, the other general. when you give a compliment, try and be as specific as possible.” i still remember my child hood best friend’s response to ‘why do you hang out with me?’ “because you’re the sort of person who, if i ask you to come and shoot a knockoff version of the hobbit with me in the local woods wearing a dressing gown, i know the answer is gonna be yes, no matter how silly the idea.”
if people falsely claiming asylum were as common as we’re lead to believe, this wouldn’t be newsworthy, as it would be so uniquitous. the BBC have run themselves ragged trying to find one naughty immigrant, to serve their agenda of hatred
