We were in the same class freshman year in high school, and we were part of a group who always ate lunch together. The other students called us the freaks under the stairs, or FUTS, because of where our table was. Anyway he’d been crushing on me pretty hard, and I had a ton of fun hanging out with him. We started dating, got married around a decade later, and he still puts up with me today!

The ones I’ve talked to are fine with it. I’ve dampened the sound as much as I could, and I only play between 11 and 8, though rarely that late. One neighbor mentioned they enjoy it, I suspect the rest merely tolerate.

Playing music! I always feel better after sitting down at my drum kit for half an hour or so. I think it works with any instrument though.

Play lots of games and music, keep my house cleaner, make food more regularly, and consider socializing more, maybe try to join a band. I would have so much more energy if I didn’t have to spend it all reading records for work.
