“Computer says no.”

For small values of “a lot”. I am in the same boat, there are not many German audio books.

Movies. I think a few are worth watching. Not all, though. Definitely not all.

For families, Tidal is even cheaper. But it’s majority owned by that Twitter asshole Jack Dorsey. Just another fucking billionaire.

There’s a window of attention for public discourse and there’s fatigue. We, as a group, can only be upset about so much. It’s a tried tactic to just try to distract us with some crazy shit, like Trump did with the alien files. If one crazy thing comes up in the news, other stuff will drop from our radar. And that’s why people try shit again and again and again. Always in the hope that this time people are distracted by other stuff or are finally worn down enough.

Why do I feel the declaration will be garbage and just allow tech bros to continue their bullshit.

It angers me when people use the US as an example to aspire to. The US are so broken and fucked up, if they’re doing something the default reaction should be to not do it because it’s most likely some idiotic, fucked up thing. They are a negative example.

Was your mom born in the first half of the 19th century? If you grew up with heroin as a cough medicine, taking meth for a cold suddenly sounds reasonable.

And you live with your cousin, right?
I can’t find a source for it, though. It’s definitely not from Mein Kampf, as I went through all occurrences of Sonne and it’s not there. There is one quote in there that says: “only once the sun went down can the moon shine”, but that’s quite different. I think it’s just another misattributed quote.
It’s attributed to Hitler. But after just having looked into it, it seems dubious.

Why did you choose to include the tweet? It adds nothing at all, as the joke is in the image alone.
If you want to shine like the sun, first you have to burn like it.

I agree. I think that all AI companies need to crash and burn. But it’d be disingenuous to claim that what these models are doing is completely different than what humans are doing. Humans don’t pull stuff out of thin air. We are products of our upbringing and schooling. I say that, because I hate our current copyright laws with a burning passion and have done so long before LLMs showed up. It’s possible to hate copyright and AI companies.

When this whole thing with Lily Allen was a thing, where she got more from posting feet pic on OnlyFans than from Spotify, someone posted an article that said Spotify is paying out like 150k-200k per month just for her streams. And yet only a tiny fraction of that ends up with her. Music labels fucking suck.

And here we see someone realizing that “the market” is just made up and it’s all just gambling under another name.
Millenials are killing another industry!
I hate these download pages that partner with scammy hosting providers. They are always shit to use and want some payment data and they make it intentionally difficult to not buy those premium accounts. Fuck all of them.
