Yes, ThinkPad is great for Linux.
Only had/have a few but always a pleasure to use. So reliable.
Plus I really don’t like touchpads so ThinkPads for the win. Even have two ThinkPad standalone keyboards (one wireless, one wired) for when I hook up to a mobile device, media box, or mini PC.
