Do they though? I think the one thing nearly every US American can agree on is that shit’s fucked. They all disagree on the cause or solution. (And half of people are high on fascist propaganda from FOX news or worse. And they’re the ones actively causing the worst problems in the country.) But I don’t think there’s any significant amount of people in the US thinking “yeah, this is how a country should be.” It’s just that some are like “we’re fucked because capitalism” and others are like “we’re fucked because we haven’t killed all the brown people yet”. (And even the ones who are a little less delusional, are throwing their hands up saying “too bad there’s nothing we can do about it”.)

Can you name one other personality with a large following that comes even close to Louis Rossmann in bringing stuff to light and fighting back against enshittification?

Well, there’s Corey Doctorow, of course. He literally wrote the book on Enshittification.

There are definitely more “behind the scenes” folks doing a lot for that particular cause who don’t so much have a following of anywhere near the same size, but nonetheless do fight enshittification in big ways. Bradley Kuhn comes to mind.
