Yes, since in my native language creating new words is a build-in feature (I’m finnish). You don’t know what’s that called? Forgot the word? A new thing that doesn’t even have a word for it? Just slap two or more together and it’s fine

Hating any child actor is incredibly mean though, I don’t understand it. The damn kids don’t know any better and don’t even have the mental capacity to be responsible yet. If there must be hate it should be aimed towards the directors and whoever chose that kid

If you like creative writing in general and want to interact with others through it, you could always look into play-by-post rpgs? There’s a whole subcultures around them online and the english speaking player base is probably the largest (and I’m talking about the free side of it, not those using dnd mechanics and such)
Because no one wants to leave their family and entire home behind just to move to a wealthy country to live on the street as a homeless person. We will only ever attract as many immigrants as there are jobs to support them.
At least up here in northern Europe that is sadly not true. I’m not claiming immigrants come here seeking free welfare (some probably do but there’s always people like that everywhere); but there’s plenty of people being actively lied to in their own countries, and sold this idea that you can just go up north and get a job and send money to your family etc. get a better life! So they gather all the money they have and give it to these liars, who then traffic them into EU and up here.
There’s barely any jobs in my country you can get without speaking the native language (which is difficult to learn and useless outside our 5mil population), and at this moment we even have massive unemployment crisis so there’s no jobs even for the natives. Still people are sold lies and come here, then get stuck trying to scrap any money they can, and get taken advantage of and have to live in poverty. Some even have big loans on them, they took to just get here. All in vain

Though if you think nazis are pretty cool, go look it up right now. It’s what you’re supporting, and also what’s going to happen to you too eventually if fascism takes over

But I’m curious which problems you have with games on Linux
Not who you asked, but I still cannot get the Sims 2 ultimate collection to even work, and I’ve been struggling with this since october lmao. The problem seems to be EA trying to force everyone to buy legacy edition thus targeting everyone making UC installable, but I refuse to buy it because not only fuck paying more for a game I’ve owned for twenty years, it also lacks the Ikea pack and bodyshop and I desperately need both. At least Lazy Duchess, the modder responsible for RPC made a patch that gives some of the functionality to legacy as well…
Also, that’s only the first hurdle. There’s like four or five small programs you need to actually play and mod the game properly, and I haven’t even gotten far enough to try to get them to work. I don’t have enough skills to understand running virtual machine stuff either, so it seems like my main rig will be stuck in win10 forever as I will not upgrade it to 11 but I also cannot sacrifice my most played game (there’s also the problem with getting paint tool SAI running that’s keeping me on windows but that’s an entirely different affair, sigh)
Ah, shit, I thought I was safe for it being a main stream game, but I guess not. The Sims 2 for me
What is with all this divisive nonsense, really. Sure, not voting for Harris made things worse in the world, but why and how does that lead to not caring about genocide at all?? Is this some fucked up psy-op, are lots of people way too stupid, or am I just going crazy

Yeah I mostly downvote comments just when people are being rude to others
Yep. There’s multiple layers to it as well, as you can make up compound words, and then you can do the “bending”, adding specific endings to make the word mean whatever. You don’t even really think about it, you just do it kinda naturally when needed.
For a random example today I used “ylöspäinkapuava”, “(someone/something) climbing upwards”. Ylös = up, päin = towards, ylöspäin = upwards, kavuta = to climb, kapuaa = someone/something climbs, kapuava = someone/something is climbing (adjective) -> ylöspäinkapuava. You could use “ylöskapuava” (up climbing) to make it simpler, but that leaves out some nuance and sounds more like just getting up after you fell down.
