I mean it’s a car located in Canada, with a Canadian saying don’t buy American. The car itself doesn’t mean anything to me. We could imagine that the driver bought the car oblivious to its American origin, but it’s not what came to mind in my case. I work for a Telco and most of our service interruptions are caused by fibre cuts, falling trees on poles, and ice or fire damage to aerial cables. Underground is just so much better.

My dad is smart he doesn’t use Facebook or Google messages or have a social media account. He only uses sms and Hotmail. My mom is everywhere and when I talk to her about moving to signal she just finds any change too complicated. I love her but she’s spending 10 hours a day on Facebook. She is literally rotting her brain at 76.

My whole family is left leaning, 100+ people, but almost none of them use alternatives like Signal Lemmy and whatnot. They’re almost all on Facebook daily…

Is there a female leader there? Must be at least a token female leader in there, right?

I did write the opening, the first paragraph is from me. Anyway that’s fine you can ignore the post, I liked the information and figured I’d post it on Lemmy. I try to add content to Lemmy as much as I can, but it’s my first AI related post.

Ok so I used AI because I felt it made sense for this post. I wrote the first paragraph which I felt was a valid introduction. Anyway I wanted to share the downside of AI by using AI to illustrate it. It was by design. I realize many here are aware already, but I feltthe post was pertinent. Feel free to ignore it.
