The rough thing with me is I’m neither a morning nor a night person so 6am is too early, 10pm is too late 🫠

While on a road trip if it’s raining hard or the weather is otherwise bad, I have to turn my music down or off so I can see better.
I cackled the first time I read about something like that but now I’m that person 🫠
Also had an 8:30 bedtime for at least 10 years. I’ll be 40 next year.
Parents had a 1995 Pontiac Transport and a 2001(?) Oldsmobile Silhouette. Hated driving vans.
Learning to drive sounds lovely in your country if you get to pick your car from a selection! (I’m from the US).

Met my husband at a church we used to go to (I’ve since denounced religion). He asked if I wanted to see A Quiet Place. Agreed. Ended up being a double date with another couple who didn’t want to see A Quiet Place so we saw Rampage instead. Absolutely fucking horrible movie. But he and I never stopped texting after that and did a subsequent date a couple weeks later. 5th wedding anniversary is Sunday 🙂

So this is completely different from using shock collars and such. ECT COULD have benefits and from what I understand, people use it as a last resort and some have found relief (severe, persistent depression comes to mind). Is it ethical? I think ECT would be more ethical than a shock collar.
I think a shock collar would result in the person being more compliant without knowing why what they did (or didn’t do) was wrong. This is generally the case with any form of physical punishment. It doesn’t teach emotional/self regulation, it just teaches someone to do what is necessary to avoid being hurt.
Yes, QWERTY. My dad made my brother and I use Mavis Beacon as kids (SHOUT OUT TO MAVIS BEACON!!!) and I had keyboarding class in middle school. WPM is 70 to 80 depending on what I’m typing.

Thanks for mentioning Zooniverse! I signed up today up and contributed to a couple projects.
Wanted to be a veterinarian. Worked in a vet clinic in high school as…a person who cleaned shit and hated it, decided that field wasn’t for me 😂
Next decided to pursue management, not sure why because I never wanted to manage people. Settled on becoming a licensed professional counselor after receiving counseling myself. Love my job but REALLY over this whole “working” thing.
😂 Yes, we did (also saw the second one). We both enjoyed it.
