Bicycles@lemmy.ca•When do you know to stop investing in an old bike and buy a new one?
1·19 days agoWould you get a better bike for the $200 you need to invest? If not, keep it. A bike is not an investment, a bike more like monthly ticket for public transport. You have to put a bit of money into it to have ready at your convenience. The ROI is being able to ride a bike when you need to.

Bicycles@lemmy.ca•When do you know to stop investing in an old bike and buy a new one?
1·19 days agoIf it’s beyond repair or if you don’t like riding it anymore. The only thing that’s still original on my bike is the frame itself. Everything else needed to be renewed in the last 15 years.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What exactly is this behaviour called?
1·2 months agoWell… it might surprise you, considering the context of your comment but you are partly correct: Humans did in fact not evolve from Monkeys.
Tap for spoiler
monkeys and humans share a common ancestor.

When I was in Avignon 25 years ago there was also shit to be seen at a 300 degree angle. It looked like some giant dog with a potato gun where his arse should be, managed to shit straight at the wall.
