For me Windows feels fast. I have
Intel Core 7 150U with iGPU
24 gb RAM
1 to SSD
Wifi, Bluetooth, etc.
My computer is an Asus VivoBook S14. Do you think it can be more faster than ever with Linux ?
And will Linux increase this battery life and autonomy ? For now, it’s the only dumb point.
It “just worked” for me as well… Until I got annoyed, wiped it tf out, installed linux, and learned about tiling wms/compositors (hyprland my goat) in the process.
Trust me, you’re one bad day away from becoming one of us in full capacity:)
That’s perfectly valid. If Windows suits your needs and priorities, use it. I use Windows on my work laptop because Linux would be a nightmare with all the tools and apps we use. But personal laptop? Linux all the way.
For me, Win11 just works (⊙o⊙) I assume it depends for your softwares, reinstalls, etc.
It’s sooooo slow though. If you use Linux regularly and then go to Windows, it’s painful

Yeah to both, and even better because you can fine-tune it all you want… And you’ll not be using a web-based shell too, lol.
