I had the realization recently that the songs I listened to in highschool are older now than the songs we called “Oldies” when I was in highschool were at the time. Took some psychic damage from that one.
So… you just had to send out that psionic blastwave, huh? If I had listened to 40-yo music, it would have been from the 1940s. Yikes.
My gf and I were sitting around with dad and stepmom in the early 90s, “That’s old 80s music.” They looked at each other stunned for a sec and started laughing at us.
