    It’s funny how this is meant to be right-wing slop to get me outraged about le benefits, but even if this was true (and I believed it was till I read the comments below), I always just took it as a condemnation of our awful economy and wages.

    Immigration outrage comes from the powers that be via the internet, but our free falling standard of living is immediately obvious and easily observed to anyone under the age of 50.

    The awful shape of our streets and our people is a stark reminder of the fact that less than half the actual population is in full time employment according to ONS (25 mil out of 69m total), combined with non-existant growth since 2008, even when measured in GDP per capita.

    The only growth has been in sectors that block growth in other sectors, every well meaning regulation passed by Labour of yore turned into a privatised cottage industry where taxpayer funds are funneled into endless consultations where everyone skims off the top, yet bureaucracy is blamed while no one is accountable for anything when the buildings fall.

    This country has two paths forward, the future and a nightmare. For the former - Vote Green.💚✅
