Oh no, not just the situation with Palestine; You see i have a good memory and i remember when Europe also ate up American propaganda and completely destroyed Iraq looking for weapons of mass destruction that never existed. It’s not that i am angry about anything it’s more that the track record of this kind of propaganda being paints the west in a very bad light.
And i remember the news casts and the magazine articles of the time. I remember the little dweebs everywhere saying that if you were against the Iraq war you were siding with evil dictators with weapons of mass destruction. I also remember all the people slaughtered by that campaign. And where were the nuclears in Iraq? None. Just a lot of bloodthirsty westerners doing what they love.
You talk about “bloodthirsty westerners” but there was a lot of opposition in the West to the Iraq War. I think France refused to get involved at all in Iraq, spurring Americans to rename french fries to “freedom fries”. There were protests like this across western countries.
Anyway I would agree with you that American imperialism is bad. I just think that Chinese and Russian imperialism are also bad. For example China seems to want to take Taiwan, and islands in the South China Sea, without regard for laws or for democratic wishes.
Maybe a world of large powers (US, China, Russia) invading wherever they like is bad for all of us.
