    Dang.

    No limit to the cynicism here.
    €40 billion for an arctic oil port that wouldn’t make economic sense, except that burning fossil fuels has shrunk the Arctic sea ice to an extent where shipping year round is now commercially viable.

    Well, it’ll be on fire soon enough, I guess.

      Yep Russia is not only oblivious to global warming but have an active interest in it because of those shipping routes.

      All this is nothing new btw but it’s very hard to get people roused about it, even those that live in the Nordics.

      I guess Russia’s even keener on this since it invaded Ukraine.

    Ukraine’s longest strike so far is about 2,500 km and this is around 3,500 km. I wonder of the FP5 will start getting an upgrade or a mothership and hit this?
