i used to have a profile photo of Daniela Avanzini but I removed it because she said she has German ancestry and her dad is insanely racist to black people and asian people and to me its clear. ”but there were also innocent immigrants and refugees!” yeah and they were early 20th century Europeans who werent magically apolitical. we have to start asking. White people are always proud of their ancestry until its time for some marginal accountability.
So are many people, so what?
Yeah Idk anything about this guy but nazi ancestors do not make you a nazi
Also this appalears to be a tweet or something but no source so assuming it is fake as I do with all screenshots of text like this
Edit nvm it is apparently real lmao this dude’s just a nazi
Except the ones who salute the Nazi soldiers of WW2.
What
Does it make the person with Nazi ancestry a Nazi if they salute the Nazi soldiers of WW2 using the “bothsides” excuse?
Yes I edited but in the future maybe a screenshot isn’t the way to go for things like this

Plenty of Nazis in America. As a matter of fact, Nazi ideology wouldn’t exist without America embracing colonialism.
I can’t stop thinking that the USA was always fascist, even though the word wasn’t yet invented. The fasces appears all over federal buildings, currency, and it’s right on the dollar bill: Novus Ordo Seclorum. The right wing voters were right again, “New World Order.” That has me thinking that’s why they supported Hitler, until he threatened US business interests, and I wouldn’t be surprised to learn we actively collaborated with his regime.
Originally as distinct manifestations, both fascism and neoliberalism emerge from the ideological need to contain the expansion of socialism and Marxism. Furthermore, their dissimilar appearances obscure the central feature that unites them. For one can hardly speak of a singular fascism or a less singular neoliberalism. Not only the former but also the latter are entangled in so many knots, such multifaceted strings, that it becomes impossible for one to claim the former or the latter as homogenous doctrines.

Ratking
What? What does that mean?
I do not understand. Rats are cute animals
It’s complicated like one might argue fascism started in Italy as a response to the growing popularity of communism in the late 1910’s, but all the ingredients already existed in colonial projects, racism etc.
I also don’t think US history can be reduced to just proto-fascism either when there have been emancipatory wars and struggles as well. The civil rights movement is just as much part of US history as chattel slavery and the genocide of the indigenous.
British and French colonialism also served as a model for nazis i don’t think they wouldn’t exist completely if there was no american colonialism
Why do so many people respect their ancestors unconditionally?
My mom’s father was a casual racist who emotionally abused her repeatedly and I certainly don’t respect him, even if he did serve the Allies.
“I salute all who served. Everyone, on both sides.” - Peter Obecracker
Wonder how he feels about the IRGC.
maybe he’s one of those idealists who respects his enemy?
Except commies of course.
The real story is that dude had the gal to accept the name Obercracker
Such a missed opportunity that this didn’t surface during the Platner Cult times.
I can’t imagine this ever being good publicity in New York lmao. Is there some liberal gymnastics that do not get you instantly canceled for this? Something like “oh i just admire that he served, not the goverment”.
This is in upstate new york, not nyc. It might still sink him, I don’t know enough about the particularities of politics in his district to say either way, but it’s not as liberal as the city
Jews are a crucial voting base in NY is what i meant.
Zionist jews will vote for anyone who is vocally pro-Israel and Islamophobic.
Jesus Christ
Did he pick out his grandpa himself?
how is that relevant when the dude’s saluting those who served?
sorry, I didn’t zoom the picture and missed the text. yeah, it’s a bad context for saluting.
I wish he’d specify how he salutes. Like, is it from the chest outward?
roman style
How odd. The name appears to be German. Did the Holy Roman Empire have some kind of special salute?
It had: Pissing off the Emperor.
