Democratic US Senate candidate Troy Jackson surged ahead in Maine's race to replace Graham Platner, with an impressive organizational feat focused on nominating a working-class champion. Jackson dominated delegate meetings, likely securing the nomination. Can grassroots organizing lead to real change in the Senate?

He’s hardly a better option, politically at least.

Troy is another late to the party, old, corpo pick, centrist democrat. He was literally voting for anti-abortion measures until just a few years ago until it wasnt in vogue anymore.

“Better option” and “Schumer approved” should be diametrically opposed when searching for a progressive candidate.

He seems to be talking a lot more about actually doing shit than regular democratic candidates do.

Sure, he’s not perfect, but I trust what this guy is saying a whole lot more than what the ex-nazi, mercenary, rapist did.

And Platner had a better trackrecord to make him more believable?
