Right, but a lot of people don’t even realize that the sanctions are still in place and want to see relief for the Venezuelan people. In this case, the “evil” Maduro has been kidnapped and replaced by the pliable Delcy, and yet the sanctions still go on. Putting pressure on the US and others to lift the sanctions will help the people of Venezuela and also educate people about what sanctions are all about.

The NYT is a mouthpiece of liberal imperialism, no doubt. But in being that, it often reports things that the gutter press like the Post does not. From the Pentagon Papers of the 1970s to exposures of Israeli crimes in Gaza recently, it often supplies material not found elsewhere.

Call them out when appropriate, which is probably at least a few times per day. (like Assal Rad does.) But boycott, no, I can’t go along with that. It doesn’t help us.
