Ever see something so appalling and stupid that your immediate reaction is laughter, as a defense mechanism for your sanity? That’s what just happened to me.
I really want to think this is an excellent troll. Most of the time, trolls are stupid and annoying. The more I think about this one, though, the funnier and better done it seems.
I do that. I think that’s a fine immediate reaction.
The problem is when you do it in public and the people think you’re on their side. Then you get looks from the other side as if you’re condoning it. Meanwhile you’re just like, “it’s an internal tick I got! I don’t approve of any of this!”

I’ve also used laughter as a coping mechanism but that’s usually when I’m breaking down anyways.
