Isn’t it a bad idea to build a tunnel through a ship?
I fear it might cause it to sink.No no, they build the tunnel above the ship. Think like a covered bridge, but permanently attached to the ship. That way cars will drive in one end, the ship sails off and the cars drive off at the destination.
Did you guys not read the article? It clearly states that the tunnel is building itself through the ships tunnel.
They’ve been talking about it forever. It might happen now.
Though, never trust their timeline. Stavanger bussroad 2020 was supposed to be done I’m 2020. Can’t remember when they started (around 2015-2017 sometime I think), but it’s still not done, and have a couple of years left.
Yes, I remember reading about this like 10 years ago, I thought they already built it since that.

I guess this is needed, but anyone thinking about downvoting, boring is another word for drilling a tunnel. Maybe the people knew this and just really didn’t like the pun though.
