Solar panels are usually sold with 25 to 30 years of performance promises. But what happens after that, when the warranty language is long gone and you are



Without reading the article, I’m betting that they just degrade in performance over time and that the warranty is the company’s bet of a certain amount of performance over those initial 30 years, which is pretty normal. A lot of products outlast their warranty by a good chunk of time if the manufacturing isn’t shoddy and they’re cared for properly.
A good car comes with a 10 year warranty, but there are 20-30 year old cars on the road. Even older if you include collector classics.
