Canadian Lemmy seems to overlook the exact same shit in other provinces. Maple MAGA exists, but it’s a pretty tiny minority. Even in rural Alberta most people are pro-Canada.

They might not know about their equivalent in the US: Mississippi.
It’s really more like Texas. Populous, rich and with major cities that are a lot more progressive.
