I’ve had to do it on several occasions in situations that wouldn’t be related to a mathematician, even such a junior one as myself.

I think I’ll take a wait and see on this one. Absolutely, repeating the same or a list of calculations to solve equations might be on the horizon for replacement but an AI being asked to move a crucial pipe line between major service buildings and take into account several laws regarding structural, environmental and engineering standards at the same time all of which involve mathematics to meet while figuring out how not to hit or block anything else following (and to move it) all in an hour isn’t something too many going AI systems will handle now or in the near future.

We’re in a pretty good space with it all tbh…the only issue we have of course is making both EVs and solar more accessible to more people.

This is important here for many because as you are probably aware there can be some distance to travel even in urban areas; it’s not uncommon for a commuter to drive 4 or so k to a train station then catch it into town for work, for one example. That person would be all over a BYD Atto for under 20k
