I will take the hate - don’t understand it, as I am not defending him, but sure, mention Elon and you will be blazed by a flamethrower regardless. If there is something specific regarding hate towards me, let me know.

I hear you. But a lot of the content of both biographies are based on recounts from other people about him - but still…

Regarding Vivian, Elon has definitely done a really horrible job with her. According to the most recent book, he presumably tried to downside his mansion lifestyle in an effort to gain a bit of her fondness for him back (this was driven by their differences in political views, hers being much more left leaning; not her transgender identity). But obviously it didn’t help one bit. It just goes to show that he will bend for people (including his children) to like him.

Hmm. In the biographies it is a least clear that he values spending time with them and has them in mind for many decisions - but definitely in his own way… Like quality time with his newest baby while being on a SpaceX conference call.

And the better question: Do they like him?

I feel like Matrix has gotten a lot of hate the last year or so. Don’t really know why. Perhaps people see it as being misguided.

Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.

His father was a complete piece of shit and treated him horribly and also he was never really allowed a proper childhood.

So I have heard some people argue that perhaps he was not a pedophile, but rather just really mentally ill, partly believing to be a kid that just wanted child playmates. Still wrong for an adult to act like this, but perhaps there was no sexual misconduct.

Not sure what to believe and perhaps I just don’t want him to be a villain, but I would like to hear if there is some concrete evidence.
