Been running Reitti for months and it just keeps getting better and better. Keep up the good work!

It is rooted in a form of privilege though to be able to just tune it out because it’s depressing

Not really sure but out of the box it runs better than a roku and I put projectivity launcher on there

I don’t think I’ve found one of the larger boxes at my walmart yet but I got 2 of the sticks to replace old roku streaming sticks and need to replace my Roku ultra but it’s working okay still

My Onn streaming stick I got for $50 looking like a better and better deal as the days go by

Fair, that is how they’re planning to use it because they’re enthusiasts and have several phones around them but according to them it’s a full android OS and isn’t lacking anything just the him screen set to Niagara which you can also change. This is according to Q/As they have answered so all there is reports that are unconfirmed. I have a 2 year old Nothing Phone2 that still runs fine so planning to use that as my secondary phone to the Communicator. That all remains to be seen but I am fine risking it with the Communicator to see how it turns out.

I am interested in both and paid the $200 reservation for a clicks communicator a couple of months ago. The minimal phone will most likely have better specs and I like they state the bootloader is fully unlocked without question. To me the Communicator looks better designed for my use cases with the ergonomics, plastic and textured back and the bumper case they have designed for it are all what I would pick if they asked me what I would want for a modern blackberry style device. The Communicator has magsafe and a 3.5mm jack which I also really want. It runs full android and I already use Niagara launcher on my current device so it lines up almost perfectly with my use cases. The Communicator is further behind schedule it seems and they only have 1 video of a working device so it you’re worried about fulfilment the minimal phone is further along and have already shipped devices in the past.

I have 3 OLED devices, an LG TV, a steamdeck OLED and a tablet all for multiple years and no sign of burn in.

Verizon doesn’t support a lot of unlocked devices even sold from major manufacturers

Gotta keep their readers brainwashed and scared!

Thanks for that link there’s 3 subreddits I keep an eye on and haven’t found a replacement and the mobile site and now old are being enshittified. Redlib is working great.

It is still an issue that is easier on plex which is why I run both because I can’t setup and troubleshoot vpns for all my family that has access. Plex is much easier on that way. Jellyfin is great but look what you need to mimic a fraction of plexs power 😆

Yeah dont use a cloudflare tunnel for media streaming

I run Fedora at work that utilizes smart cards and socks proxies, several vpns and private certificates and it works like a charm.

It’s not a DNC line is the truth while we’re in this terrible two party system with no ranked choice voting. Ironically Sanders has been pushing for ranked choice voting and fighting against the two party system.

I think it was posted by a bot that aggregates headlines

“Jackson, like Platner, was endorsed by Sanders and has expressed support for Medicare for All, stronger union protections, wage increases, and other progressive priorities. In recent months, Jackson has joined Sanders and Platner at “Fighting Oligarchy” rallies where the former Maine Senate leader said American workers are being robbed by a billionaire class bent on enriching itself no matter the societal costs.”

Seems like it

Somehow my Instagram got on a conservative algorithm for a minute and it was all fights or people breaking into cars or beaches filled with brown people and the caption for the latter said NY and all the comments from people in WY and Nebraska saying they knew the city and state of NY was ruined it was wild.

They’ve said they’re partnering with Niagara devs to make sure it works seamlessly with the hardware for this phone so you get a full tailored experience with this device.

You can also just pick whatever launcher you want if you’re so inclined.

Not sure if this 100% fits but I used the stacking widgets on Nova for a long while. Switched to Niagara launcher 2 years ago and have 5 widgets set up ay the top of my homescreen that I can swipe through.
