He is absolutely desperate and its lovely to see. I hope we’ll eventually get to see him crashing out live on TV after our neighbors remove him and his filth from leadership.

the US/Israel still started it
No one argued against that. You’re making things up so you can win an imaginary argument. You gotta be Usaian, there’s no way any other people are this ridiculous.

Its not about what Italy did, its about what Italy can do. The Islamic Regime’s aims now at hitting whatever they can hard enough so those countries put pressure on USA/Israel to stop their aggression (but not hard enough for those countries to figure out that its a safer bet in the long-term to join with USA/Israel and attack Iran)
At least, to my knowledge, that’s what it seems to be happening.

Agreed. Only worded it like that so I didn’t start writing text-walls again about Israel/USA’s actual interests in this conflict. Neither of any of those involved care about the wellbeing/freedom of the Iranian people.

I admit, I don’t know enough about Israel’s internal politics to make a good judgement on that - but to me it feels like Israel either wouldn’t be so emboldened or would pretty much stop their actions if USA were to back off. Or at most only launch rockets every now and then.

but I never took into account the incompetence of Iran’s new despot
I dunno if this is incompetence, its rather just the modus operandi of the regime.
They killed thousands or possibly tens of thousands just for protesting.
When this will be over - and I overwhelmingly doubt USA/Israel/etc will lead to the fall of the Islamic regime - they will want to ensure that there is no threat to the regime. Failed revolutions are often followed by cleansings (read: mass killings and more violent oppression).
Its going to be so bad and people are going to go back to largely ignoring it, like they did in the decades prior.

Thanks for the motivation to post the message from the Islamist occupiers, here you go, “bro”: https://piefed.social/c/world/p/1869193/iran-s-islamic-regime-state-media-says-they-will-kill-iranians-both-inside-and-outside

Meanwhile the Islamists terrorists on state TV are explicitly saying that once all of this settles they will kill every single anti-regime person, both inside the country and outside.
I absolutely believe them.

Literally no one would ever be surprised by this.

Mom was willing to suffer or die just so her daughter could live in relative freedom.
The worst part of it all is that even though she changed her mind in order to protect her mother and family, its meaningless. The Islamist regime will still hurt or possibly kill them simply for the fact that she dared defy them in one instance, they will not allow them to go unpunished.

If they did this to comply with the Islamists for economical purposes, then that’d be some clown show shit lmao.

I’m almost willing to bet that he thinks Saudi Arabia is USA’s enemy.

that one islamist’s hairdo took me entirely by surprise. what a bad hair day can make someone do, smh

One of the UK immigration officers - Chi Leung “Peter” Wai - is on trial at the Old Bailey. The other - former Royal Marine Matthew Trickett - was found dead in May 2024 after he had been arrested and bailed.
So China killed that guy?

And another important thing that I think its not talked about often enough.
Putin is hiding very large amounts of war debt. This is not the first time, he has done it before although at a much smaller scale. You can read all about it in this full report by Harvard economist Craig Kennedy - fair warning though, its a very long read.
The way it works is that before he invaded Ukraine, he passed a law that forces Russia’s biggest banks to give private loans at very preferential rates to private defence companies. Everything that these companies gets buried in Ukraine, and as they do so they keep on accumulating debt.
How big is this debt? At the time when that article was written, one year ago, it summed up 36.6 trillion rubles - more than 20% of the country’s entire GDP. Meanwhile they have probably accumulated even more debt. (I’ve yet to see any further significant data on this and that’s mainly because Russia has stopped making this data public)
The question is then: what happens when the war stops? Well, the chicken will come home to roost.
These companies aren’t profitable, naturally. So the least bad option is that the state will have to chime in and cover this private debts, or some other crazy shit (like letting Russia’s banks take the hit)
They have really fucked Russians over in more ways than one. Doubt they’ll stop anytime soon.

Perfectly reasonable

Sometime in the future we should also include countries like Australia, South Korea, Canada, and others. Although, for the time being I hope the focus is to extend trade partnerships - especially finishing the FTA with Australia and a new one with ASEAN, that’d make me very happy.
This shouldn’t really be about some sort of euro-nationalism, but rather a pragmatic approach that allows us to best counter USA and China.

“We demand that the Islamic Republic of Iran clarify the matter in the shortest possible time, provide an explanation and take the necessary urgent measures to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.”
Something tells me they won’t.

Wouldn’t be the first time Americans have fucked Kurds over.
I can’t help but wonder what the Kurds have been promised this time, besides the obvious (autonomy, statehood, etc)
Also, I imagine this won’t sit well with a lot of the westerners who have expressed pro-Kurdish views in the past
“The Kurds and the Jews are natural allies in the Middle East,” he said, adding that many Kurds view Israel’s establishment as proof that independence is achievable for stateless nations.
He can’t just fuck off and he’s not incompetent, he’s a thief. Him and his buddies have stollen so much of Hungary’s money and resources that if they’re taken out of power there’s a considerable of chance of people having to go to jail.
That’s why we’re seeing all these kinda desperate acts. He’s trying to cling to power through any means.
It’s gonna be a rough month for Hungarians, but I hope they can pull it off.
