31·2 days agoConsidering that Putin thought he could just steamroll over Ukraine and 4 years later, Ukraine is still going, that doesn’t surprise me

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Should Christa Pike be released from prison?
21·2 days agoNo, she shouldn’t. But at the same time, I do not agree with the death penalty at all. It is barbaric. So she shouldn’t be subjected to the sentence again.

32·4 days agoeh, it’s no different than what the animal ag industry does to billions of animals, namely pigs. Farrowing cages much?
Yup. It’s so damn annoying hosting email. Do it once to learn, but don’t do it as a permanent solution. It takes so much maintenance to keep it going, if you even do get it working.
Well, it’s a good learning experience. But…… don’t. Good luck getting around the major email providers’ smart screen shit. It’s probably not gonna happen. I tried a few years ago, and even microslop couldn’t figure out why their shit screen crap wouldn’t allow my emails. It’s not in their best interest to fix it. So they don’t. But it’s worth doing it in the short term to learn how to do it. Teaches you about email, spf, dkim etc. which actually does translate to real world skills. I used what I learnt setting it up in my real life job.
Kernel panic?

1·10 days agoa browser is firefox/chrome. A search engine is duckduckgo/kagi/google. You access a search engine with a browser, but you can also access other websites, such as piefed.ca, with a browser. I’m sure someone else can explain better, but that’s my attempt :)
