Just once I would like to see actual numbers in one of those bullshit articles.

Last month we had “400% increased sales of Chinese EVs” when in reality that increase was from next to nothing to barely above 1% marketshare (all combined that is…) all while several European EVs with actual marketshare saw comparable growth.

Now we have “Europe folding in the face China’s EV dominance”. Still while European EVs actually dominate the European market and the EU is not doing anything but imposing tariffs -fine tuned per producer even- to fit real Chinese subsidies.

(PS: And I don’t even want to mention the idiocy of pretending that hybrids are an actual thing for future car production and not just a fever dream out of the minds of anti-EV and pro-fossil fuel lobbyists trying to keep their failing business model on life support for a few more years…)

Edit: Wow… just wanting to find out more about unheard.com I browsed through some of their other articles. I think I have to correct my earlier assessment. This article is peak professional journalism compared to some of the other shit they produce: “Starmer can’t win his war on Musk”, “Why Trump will get Greenland”, “Why you should eat the RFK diet”, “The Green Party’s war on women”. And the worst part is that some of those are even worse than the titles already suggest. 🤡

Being lazy and having update-related issues with nextcloud too often for my taste I went back to the basics (as that’s all I actually use 99% of the time) with Syncthing for file syncing and Radicale for caldav/carddav.
