The reason why machine learning fails at creative writing is because as the name suggests, you need to be able to create. This cannot be copied by mixing and matching values and building tensor grids.
Only one who dreams can think of things to create, how else would they first see them?
Does anyone remember the incident where GPT-2 generated incredibly horny outputs?
Maybe someone at OpenAI conjured a Cummo onto the training servers. The thought of a 4Channer working at a tech company horrifies me though.
I mean it sounds harsh, but some people really shouldn‘t have kids. Some because of genetics (adoption is fine) and some because they are clinically insane and would destroy their children‘s psyche (these kids would be better off given up for adoption)
In reality that‘s hard to achieve, but it is true.
