You have a cartoonish understanding of crime and economics. The system doesnt get people to this point, they system just steals from everyone and makes us poorer, it doesnt make you do crime. You can blame how he was raised on this, and I would bet there is a long string of things this guy has done that are bad.
Calling things into question doesnt mean much. Stories like these 99% of the time are misleading.
Strawman
I think the issue with the homeless guys it was possible armed robbery and he probably had priors, so its not an insanely long sentence for what he did.
Oh gotcha, you are going down the critical theory route… Long story short is that you have a skewed reality that doesnt reflect what is actually happening.
This is the exact problem you think it encompasses more than it does. What do you have against me making a consensual agreement with someone else if it doesnt harm anyone outside of us?
Apparently I need to tell you this, but just because a thing exists that isnt socialism doesnt mean its capitalism. Capitalism isnt invading countries or paying off politicians, its just people trading freely. I think you are just going to doing the “but thats not real communism!!” thing, without realizing the precursors to getting to real communism.
So you response is that lots of people starve to death so our millions that starved to death due to policy were not a big deal because life expectancy went up just like the rest of the world?
What happened in Ukraine and china then?
Thank you!
