This should be seriously addressed tbh, someone should make an european initiative to sanction whoever don’t follow web standards; I’d make it but i am not really the right person to do it, sadly

Do you have any example? Can you send any link? I never experienced those problems myself so i want to try

I think you should read my reply again, slowly

Fun fact: many sites that say that they don’t support firefox lie, their sites usually support it but they never tested it or they deem firefox “less secure” or some bullshit, but with an useragent spoofer, they will work
(Not all sites ofc)

Sponsored shortcuts? They don’t have them, i did a clean install only some week ago so i doubt it’s a new thing

I doubt SearXNG is going to integrate it lmao, and if they do, someone will fork or i will keep using older versions

If you, for some reason, need a printer that can make colored things, i highly suggest Epson ecotank printers, they cost a lil more than many inkjets but the ink last a lot because it’s a fucking tank where you put a lot of ink instead of a cardrige with little to none ink

Yahoo had it’s own web crawler only between 2004 and 2009, then they made a deal with Microsoft to use Bing indexes, so i highly doubt they even have their old index
Yeah, and usually they are nice or funny ones

Companies already do it with Reddit, so it’s not surprising, their error is to think that the niche open source federated alternative to reddit would make their bs work
Or maybe 3.75k rings if they are in a poly relationship of 4, who knows
I’d take “ask questions to that ancient dev even if it take 10 minutes of history lesson everytime” over using AI

Oh, i thought they had their own index, then i guess that a local SearXNG instance with a proxy will do…

Does it work as well as Google before it became absolute shit?
What service do you use?

Remove the batteries first!
Just the same way as you joined lemmy.zip, signup to the instance at https://sh.itjust.works/signup

Next time i suggest to at least mention that kagi is paid, i say it mainly because many users will not catch that immediatly (me included, i understood it only after i made the account, and only because i saw the max querys i could do or smth else i don’t remember rn) so you avoid to waste people’s time that aren’t interessed, i see many people that don’t mention it but i think it’s essential
There is some specific reason why we don’t use it? Or they last too long so companies don’t want to sell them?
