Your problem is that your insult is not directed at anything specific, so it’s easy to assume it’s at this community as a whole. Your jargon also identifies you as a probable tankie, and when tankies say “western chauvinism” they usually mean “not gargling china’s boot”.
Western chauvinism is bad and should be called out, but it shouldn’t be replaced with eastern chauvinism. You don’t have to be on the side of one state to oppose another state.
I don’t gargle China’s boot, but I think it’s a little hypocritical to equally condemn the US and China as if the two things are comparable. China isn’t in the imperial core and its workers are exploited by Western finance capital, China only passively benefits from looking the other way when they get cheap commodities imported from Africa or India, they are not the ones who actually colonize the global South and cause unequal exchange to exist, they don’t install comprador dictatorships, or engage in imperialist war. In fact, most of the time they side with the anti-imperialist side for realpolitik reasons against the US.
Comparing Western and Eastern chauvinism as if they’re the same is the Western chauvinism I am talking about, you are underplaying Western imperialism and over exaggerating Eastern imperialism to make a false equivalence. China is a tiny empire, but because they’re a tiny empire their active imperialism pretty much ends outside their borders and their interests right now are undermining the power of Western capital, making them extremely useful for the global South to develop into self-sufficiency and break out of neocolonialism. A globalized system of extraction is much worse than a fractured world of many petty empires, a worker’s revolution is much more likely to succeed in the ladder, in the former most of the capital in the world is organized against them.
You should know that imperialism is a systemic thing, not a policy of individual states, that’s not materialist at all. Imperialism is based on monopoly power and is driven by things like unequal exchange and debt trapping, and enforced by things like weaponized specialization, balkanization, and military aid for comprador governments or interventions.
Imperialism has to be fractured into semi equal parts or else the largest part (the West) will just divide and conquer the smaller parts. I support China only in so far as they’re a huge fracture in the previously world-spanning neoliberal empire of finance and oil based in the West. God willing, it fractures further.
Well, since we exist in the real world. Tell me. What’s the most likely scenario if China splits up into however many entities you think would be enough to achieve decolonization? I already know it’s a policy of the US government to support this. So, who would benefit the most from that?
Then what is your position? If you’re in the global North, then what’s the point of constantly pointing out that both sides are bad when you agree that one side is worse?
It’s like the communists writing letters to Iranian prisoners coinciding with Iran getting invaded. Why now? Why is this your priority?
My position on what? Politics is a mess of interconnected pieces. I’m an anarchist and I distrust states, especially ones that have proven themselves untrustworthy. I agree that tearing down one superpower risks a huge and awful domino effect, but i dont have the depth of global politics knowledge to come up with some kind of large scale plan - and even if i did, then what? What would my plan matter without any support from basically anyone.
You act like me pointing out why people think you insulted them somehow means my priority is opposing China. What I oppose (in this instance! Because it seemed to be what you were implying!) is people who believe China can do no wrong because they oppose the USA. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” only works on a temporary and situational basis with a large amount of skepticism.
Okay, I do oppose people who think China can do no wrong as well, I’m just used to interacting with users who conceal their support for actually balkanizing China with a mask of anti-colonialism.

Can you point to where I called them equal?
And I’ll just say this again:
Well, since we exist in the real world. Tell me. What’s the most likely scenario if China splits up into however many entities you think would be enough to achieve decolonization? I already know it’s a policy of the US government to support this. So, who would benefit the most from that?
When did I say China needs to be split up? Who are you having an argument with?
OP straight up having a different conversation than you. We need universal healthcare in this country so OP can get their thorazine.

Sorry. My shields were up.
