They are human, hence the problem with companies pretending it’s a bot doing things. The workers aren’t doing anything wrong imo. No clue which call centers Muse uses, for example, but at least Waymo uses remote drivers in the Philippines. The country isn’t really the point though? India is just well known for having lots of call centers.
