A National Conservatism (NatCon) conference beginning today in Jerusalem advertises a talk from the Trump administration’s anti-terrorism czar alongside speeches from far-right Israeli politicians, European figures who have faced disciplinary action over alleged antisemitism, and Christian nationalist and far-right figures from the United States.

From Israel, the program lists Bezalel Smotrich, the finance minister, self-declared “fascist homophobe” and internationally sanctioned extremist, and Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, who in 2023 called for an atom bomb to be dropped on Gaza and was earlier ordered to face disciplinary proceedings for racist incitement against Palestinians.
My brain hurts from this firestorm of hypocrisy and calls for violence attempting to destroy all meaning.
All i could say about this would get me put on a list.
Israel is the biggest supporter of far right parties globally and have been implicated in countless election scandals.
Y’all are being too hostile to these folks. How else (and where else) are they supposed to meet? Genocide aren’t going to plan themselves!
In a sane would there should be collaboration punishments for these parties who met on friendly terms with war criminals.
