In the name of fighting crime and terrorism, EU law requires mandatory police surveillance of international air travel. Governments are now considering surveillance of all other modes of transport, in particular maritime travel. They also want to use data for new purposes, such as immigration control. A working group has been set up to consider new legal proposals.

Please explain why pointing out threats to European liberties is anti-European. Europe is not a dream that mustn’t be disturbed.

Context matters. This user is spamming this community with a certain narrative. This is only one of many posts aligning itself with the infiltration playbook of foreign adversaries. Sow discord by supporting extremist views and simultaneously push a certain narrative, example: China’s supremacy is inevitable. Please look at this profile.

I have checked three pages. It’s focussed on EV, Asia and China and sometimes critical of Europe, but without being extremist. We are democracies. If we can’t handle that amount of discord we don’t have to fight for a free Europe. Which posts stand out to you?

Regarding China’s supremacy, the US army expects China to take the lead sometime after 2027. How do you think it can be prevented? There were plans about decoupling, but after the Greenland incident I don’t think that the EU supports it anymore.

I find the user highly suspicious because he barely comments and exclusively posts. Someone is very adamant about getting their point across.
