Yep. It is and was the West’s, in particular America’s, guard dog in the Arab world. It was the stick in the proverbial carrot-and-stick style diplomacy. Now that stick is no more useful and is more of a liability than an asset. So, Uncle Sam is slowly getting rid of that useless stick. Uncle Sam is transitioning from a global hegemony to a local one (the Americas and maybe Europe?) and doesn’t want the Zionist to sabotage or obstruct the transition. Especially, given that the Islaamic world is becoming more and more powerful and united with each passing day.
I don’t really see any evidence that says they are trying to move away from being a global superpower.

That is an illusion they’ve put up and intend to keep through mass disinformation. Truth is they’ve been collecting any dirt on the highest levels of societal positions. School boards, companies, government etc. You needn’t look any further than the Epstein situation and the comical lack of justice surrounding it.

So? And secondly, your last sentence actually contradicts your claim. If they were really that powerful, then why didn’t the people involved in Epstein’s stuff get into trouble, given that their situation is getting worse and worse? Because, it doesn’t matter. Their only leverage was being able to oppress the Arab-Islaamic world on behalf of the West and they are losing that.
My last statement IS me pointing out they’ve not been punished so I don’t understand how you came to that conclusion. Having leadership be compromised is obviously an issue. They control your laws, news, regulation, safety nets for regular people. Really question is why you’re jumping to their defense?

The US is destroying itself in Iran for Israel. It’s abundantly clear who owns who.
The US benefits from it’s own imperial wars in the middle east. It seems like the US is just using Israel to commit the worst atrocities for it so it doesn’t have to.
