You’re mapping a lot of characteristics to entrepreneurship that aren’t there.
A lot of businesses get founded by people with a passion, but a lot get founded because people want a way to make money where they don’t have a single boss. Then you have to start focusing on the cost of product sold and how to secure revenue streams.
Founders of successful companies may have a passion for what they do, but they also need to have a sound business plan and be able to make decisions which help their companies run profitably. People who give out free product and who offer white glove service to all customers in a market which can’t support the costs of doing so are going to find themselves out of money.
