Sun tsu made the point that you don’t want to leave an opponent without a retreat, specifically you should leave them the retreat available which you would prefer they take.
Have faith in your fellow community members to become better people and give them the opportunity, if only in the directions you prefer.
I don’t think any one would argue a pro wrestling crowd as a particularly progressive group, but here we are. Give them the opportunity to be better and take away any other options.
