I am buying a house because fuck landlords. I’m being kicked out of my place by ‘no fault’ and I’ve had enough of living at the whims of another money hording person being a dick… Ok rant part over… This new house is old and a bit beat up but solid enough to start a life in. It also has a big (by my standard) garden which I have no idea what to outside of just ‘plant stuff’. I don’t have measurements or know the size of anything, but I want to somehow give some of my space to those who don’t have any and make it a place to share. Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts?
Are there already community gardens in the area? Check those out for ideas, tips, new friends.
Was going to say, op you could put up flyers asking if people are interested in caring for a plot community garden style. I’m sure there are renters in your area that would love to have a plot to work.
There’s a community garden in my neighborhood and applications are always backed up.
