Also, there is a ton of reporting - with witness testimonies - about the extent to which Ukraine, its government and its military (particularly the nationalist formations) are involved in human trafficking as well as organ trafficking.
Unfortunately most of that reporting is in Russian as the western media refuses to cover those sorts of stories (they used to do it a little before 2014, but now they all have gotten the order to cover up anything that reflects negatively on Ukraine).
It’s pretty frustrating how western media won’t touch this stuff, and you can’t get libs to engage with anything coming out of Russian media. The really funny part here is that after nearly four years of the war, it’s becoming clear that Russian media has been doing far more honest reporting this whole time. And it’s not even because Russia has some moral superiority or higher media standards, it’s just cause they don’t need to lie. They can just lean on the actual historical facts for their propaganda.
After the war ends, Russia is going to be in a strong position geopolitically because they were forced to align themselves with the global majority, and became a pivotal force that broke western hegemony. It really is another incredibly cynical exploitation of “human rights” causes for political gain. It’s been in use for such a long time, westerners should have a much better immunity to this trick by now.
There’s this lecture where Parenti talks about how the US media pretended to care about the anti-imperialist struggle of Cubans against Spain, and how it was just political cover for US imperialism in Cuba. I think about that a lot, and how there’s this direct line from that moment in history to what the US media, NED, and all the other CIA cutouts do today.
It really all boils down to material reality reinforcing the systems that shape us. That’s why Marxism was turned into an idea and anyone who doesn’t fit into that ideas got demonized, it’s genius really, but also horrifying. They got me by that too, it’s why I’m so weak and have no material strength.

That’s a good point. I’ve definitely seen some iPhone signatures in a number of the emails. Although, you can always copy-paste the encrypted text to/from any other tool. In which case – and maybe I’m being too ungenerous here, two steps to compose or read an email does seem pretty complicated for people who can’t write a coherent sentence.

Some, certainly. After all, at the end of the day, abuse of any sort is a power play. But it takes far more power to control our own inner beasts, and sheer willpower ain’t it.
At any rate, that theory can not be applied wholesale across the board, not any other, imo. What can be is that the abused either grow up to become abusers or victims or both, without deep reckoning and usually some sort of professional intervention. I suppose there are exceptions, but I’ve never met any, in 3D, despite much protestation to the contrary.
