Haven’t watched the video, but i saw the comments and decided to find out some more about FD signifier because i have seen him be recommended in leftist-ish spaces and i think even here on hexbear.
Quickly found out about him being zionist coded (not directly supporting it, but always criticising the pro-palistine side and faux worry about antisemitism) and equating “goy” (someone non-jewish, used as a slur apparently) and gusano with the N-word
I guess imma stay away from him lol
he has this american liberal idpol attitude of everything a “white” person says needing to be doubly scrutinised and hmmed at, as if palestinians care more about the wording than the fact that they’re currently being genocided
I find him useful in describing the US black experience, but I don’t look to him outside of that. He was a lib when his show started, and has moved a little leftward since.
I’ve been watching his videos for a while and while I’m not going to vouch for him, I’ll say that he’s just the type of guy who says a lot of shit and it’s easy to take something said out of context
