These billionaires fuckheads have so much money (I would say time and money but according to Far Side Einstein time is money) that they’d rather set it on fire literally than help humanity.

Damn, that’s going to set Blue Origin back several months, maybe a year. Wishing them all the best. The market could really use the competition.
They were starting to ramp up into what seemed like it could be a decent cadence, too. This is not going to be a quick turnaround. A year long stand down might still not be enough to rebuild the pad. This one hurts.
Definitely a year or more.
The Falcon 9 that blew up on SLC40 took over a year, and that was a much smaller explosion. The only reason SpaceX was able to launch a Falcon again so quickly was because that next launch was from pad 39A instead.
Oh well, what’s another 8 billion tax dollars.
