A US official tells USA TODAY the Trump administration is expecting first steps on Greenland within the next 'weeks or months.'

Donald Trump’s desire to annex Greenland will not be thwarted and there could be meaningful U.S. action related to the Arctic island within “weeks or months,” according to a senior administration official.

That’s the view of Thomas Dans, Trump’s Arctic commissioner. He’s regarded as one of the main proponents of the president’s interest in Greenland, an idea first brought to Trump by billionaire and former diplomat Ronald Lauder.

Dans has been working on the issue since 2020.

    What would the rest of the world do??

    EU would be abandoned, because the Americas would be in war,

    Putin is committed to his “Tsar” pretense rampaging Europe imperially, but economically, he’s toast,

    so he has to allow China to supplant Russia, in exchange for continued-economic-function…

    Asia, abandoned by the West, as Russia rampages the EU & US rampages Canada & Central & South America & wages Civil War … gets rampaged by China…

    etc.

    Total regional consolidation, & each region essentially ignoring all the rest, because everybody is fighting-for-their-lives or fighting-to-exterminate-all-regional-independence.

    Nobody’s going to affect any other region, during these next 5-10 years.

    Once this stage of it is finished, then the regions deathmatch.

    simple.

    Just wait for Trump’s “miracle-cure”, & then his Purge happens, & … all the rest of the dominoes go down
