You know what’s wild, that adult creators Vis a Vis onlyfans couldn’t find banks. Lose their jobs. And are just straight up denegrated for their chosen profession. Meanwhile, these AI wanks are getting billions in investor money and celebrated for a porn machine. Personally I’d rather that money go to a real creator. I dunno, seems pretty fucked.

I guess their telemetry has shown that this is what most people try to use it for. User data in all it’s glory, but I don’t think they are gonna be making 70bn $ on erotica. They are competing with free internet porn.

It isn’t. Not even in the data they published themselves is this a common use. Most people use them functionally.

I think they’re too far in the hole at this point. Even the bottomless goon profit pit isn’t gonna save them from oblivion unless they magically invent a way to make AI a lot better. And deservedly so.

Chat GPT’s only reliable fanclub is the people who got obsessed with using the chatbot as a human companion. Their influence is so strong that when OpenAI switched to the “better” ChatGPT 5, Sam Altman had to re-allow the use of the sycophantic GPT-4o to appease them.

This is all before Sam Altman decided to turn ChatGPT into a sexbot, mind you…

Who would want this? There isn’t a shortage of porn. It seems like it being fake kind of defeats the point, to me.

Is this going to even be popular? Hopefully limitless slop doesn’t get mixed in with everything else.

      I mean it’s pretty popular on https://civit.ai/

But it’s probably a niche within a niche so how popular is it really

I don’t think people will pay openai for the privilege though.

The problem with Ai porn is that everything starts to look alike after a while. Especially if you are locked into a single model.

Just look at some off the stuff on civitai. Don’t even have to be the porn. But they use tons of different models with high control of temperature, seed, additional loras, step count, post processing etc

It’s unironically quite impressive what some people can generate. But they would never do all those iterations on openai

Like amputees fucking? Is that an unfilled niche? What about rule 34 is it? No matter what the kink is it already exists on the internets.

Well, there’s a limited number of amputees actually going in front of the camera, especially quadruple amputees. Art communities frown upon drawing amputees due to stigmatization of weird fetishes, so only a select number of them will draw it for you despite it’s being easier for the most part, and even then getting a whole comic etc. drawn would cost you an arm and a leg. If it weren’t for the training material I’d say it’s better than sharing SFW photos and videos nonconsensually of amputees, but there’s also the issue of the environmental impact.

Drawn amputee porn is sometimes weirdly wholesome, as it sometimes depicts taking care of them, with the fucking of course. Some dabbles into body integrity dysphoria, a very rare psychological disorder, many of whom wish to be amputated. But some are of the nonconsensual types, sometimes even showing the amputation (although there’s those with consensual amputation), that gave the genre the bad name.
