You are right. But this crisis could be used to accelerate green energy and independence on other countries. Imagine breaking free of all the economic impact having to do with fossil fuels -which is a finite source of power that’s running out anyway- and at the same time making your air cleaner.
Covid actually did that for a little while. When people worked from home smog levels dropped dramatically and some cities saw blue skies they hadn’t had in decades. Never waste a good crisis.
