Anarchists glazing Kurds while they were actively fighting the axis of resistance, has already happened and it never stopped.
The majority of anarchists still think that opposition to Assad was more important than a united front against ISIS. They broke the united front against Franco is the Spanish civil war. It is what anarchists do.
So no. I don’t think ignoring history to go easy on anarchists until they do what they always do is a good way to approach this.
Rojava is an extremely simple litmus test for an actually principled ML and a larper. It dressed itself in progressive asthetic while materially only benifeting imperialism.
Anyone whose seen my comments/posts on Rojava/Kurdistan as a whole is likely aware of my… distaste for the project. So I’m happy that Grad takes such a staunch stance on those imperial bootlickers.
But we should pride ourselves in the quality of hatred (jest aside there’s a real practical reason for it - the science of anti-imperialism and not be led astray by blunting the edge against domestic revolution in the imperial cores or blunting the support of anti-imperialists fighting on the ground)
Yes and anarchists have sided with the US and Israel before, that’s what the OP is referring to when they say “will the anarchoids glaze the kurds again?”
There’s already enough things that have happened to be angry at. Can we at least wait for this to happen before we start getting mad at it?

Yup and we have banned users showing support for the kurd goons in syria before.
I consider it a very serious ideological difference and am sure many others do so too.

Ukw, fair point. All our hatred should be directed at US and Israel

Yes, I agree
