I don’t disagree that it will be disasterous for the US. It does seem like it is now immiment though considering how many countries are emergency recalling their embassy personnel from isn’treal and issuing travel warnings at all once today.
Perhaps. We will see. They need to do something to save face, something that can be spun as a “win”. Very likely there will be some kind of attack, because they cannot be seen to back down now.
