For example, marxist-leninists have a very different approach to the anti-capitalist fight compared to most anarchists. Another similar example would be platformists anarchists and communizers (communization theory): generally, both are communists; however, platformists stress the importance of a mass organization that would engage with dual power structures, while communizers don’t.

I think the far-left has more diversity in its political positions and its factions usually don’t get along with each other simply because their projects are incompatible. That may cause a little bit of “disorganization” but I don’t think that’s bad per se. It could be seen as a sign of critical thinking.

I don’t participate much in online debates, so I don’t know if I’ve ever convinced someone with my words. However, what I can tell you is that sometimes a person writes something interesting, and then it gets stuck in my head for some time until I have to read something about that topic, finally causing a change of opinion in me.

The capitalist system always needs a scapegoat to unify a divided society. That marginalized role has traditionally been filled by immigrants, psychiatric patients, drug users, queer people, and the like… Furthermore, these days, social subsumption by capital has been intensified, which implies that hate toward these people is fueled by some systemic actors, such as the far-right. Some people, in this context, adhere to this discourse out of the need for social cohesion and fear.
